It can happen to anyone. The sun can be shining. You have the perfect plan. Your photo and video team are ready to go. And then, lightning strikes ⚡️ 🌧️… metaphorically speaking. Think back to the days you were planning for this day. Did you ask the right questions? Did you vet the team you hired? How are your photos and videos going to turn out? Will your dress get ruined? Will the groom see the bride before he’s supposed to? What are you supposed to do? This is why the vendors you hire matter so much. This couple was privileged to have a strong team running their day. Let’s break it down: 1) This is quite possibly the first time each vendor could be working together. Each with their own goals, priorities and experience to provide their mutual client. A good vendor team will ADAPT to any situation, remain calm and get the job done. Ask your vendors how they perform under pressure. You don’t want to mess this up! 2) The bride and groom are on a strict timeline. They haven’t seen each other yet! Imagine the disappointment on the day if something happened where they spoiled the surprise of her walking down the aisle because of a moment like this. The stakes are as high as they get! 3) In this scenario, there’s risk of equipment being damaged as well as reputations and a client experience. What you see happening here is a coordinator/planner, a photographer and a videographer all coming together to help each other. Not only does everyone have to take care to avoid getting in each others shots, you have to consider how the rain affects them as well. The story ends with a happy wedding. @stattevents responds and directs the couple brilliantly. And has the notion to help the photo and video team keep their equipment dry. While staying out of the way. @tpi_photography executes, maintains the standard of their portfolio and collaborates with the videographer perfectly. End of the day, the couple stays stress free (as stress free as you can on your wedding day lol) and their memories are preserved masterfully. It’s a reminder of a time when marriage felt stronger—when vows held weight. Today, divorce rates are high, and the promises once spoken can fade as the years go on. I believe marriage is worth more. Every wedding has a story that unfolds throughout the day. This story, is about love, family, passion and heritage. The groom and his closest entourage of groomsmen bring it, in an all out display of love for cars and tribute to the grooms late father. Volatility, was in the air as the skies closed in, hailed and opened up almost intentionally as each part of the day unfolded. When you combine an incredible couple and their family with a great vendor team, magic happens. Nicole and Angelo’s wedding was filled with so much heart. The amount of detail put into making it such a great day could be felt all the way down the line from the vendors to the couple and their families.
