My work was shaped through years of study, observation, and practice. I’m self taught, but never casual about the craft. I’ve spent countless hours learning from filmmakers I respect, refining what resonated, and letting the rest fall away until the work began to feel fully my own.

I believe the most meaningful moments are often the ones that pass quietly. A glance across the room. A shift in someone’s voice. A hand held a little tighter than usual. Weddings are full of moments like these, and the way they are remembered depends on how they are seen.

I grew up in Rochester, New York, where my appreciation for quiet, meaningful moments began early. After school, I joined the U.S. Army, which gave me a deeper sense of discipline, perspective, and curiosity about people and the world around me. Later, I earned a degree in Psychology, which sharpened the way I understand emotion, connection, and human behavior. Those experiences continue to shape both how I work and what I notice.

Before starting VowStory Films in 2023, I spent nearly a decade in service and sales roles. That experience shaped the way I show up for people just as much as the filmmaking itself. It taught me how to listen well, communicate clearly, stay composed, and make people feel understood.

With a camera in my hands, I’m not looking to manufacture moments. I’m paying attention to what is already there, the feeling, the rhythm, the subtle things that might otherwise go unnoticed. My goal is to create films that feel honest, personal, and lasting.

I’m there to notice what matters, and preserve it with care.
